hey guys i've been changing my springs today and everything was going smoothly until putting everything back together (for the rear). i've got the shock bolted to the LCA no problems but now i can't get the LCA in line with the inner bolt hole well enough to get it through. i've tried using the jack to lift the LCA and get it in line but just cant get it there.

has anyone got any tips or tricks for getting it line?

thanks

line it up with a jack as close as u can. grab a screw driver to test the whether it goes straight through.

or u can line it up and use a hammer. slight bumps just so it sits in and start tightening the bolt

thanks man. my mate came round and gave me a hand and we got it in like 15 minutes!

for anyone thats interested we used a jack to lift up the LCA and get the bushing in line and put the bolt through as far as it would go.
then took the jack off and jacked it up from closer to the hub (this straightened up the angle that the bushing had made which prevented the bolt from going all the way through)
then a few light taps of the hammer and she screwed in nicely!
some pictures would make this easier to explain..maybe next time haha

You'll get the hang of it. Sounds like me a couple of years ago, with my first attempt I had G-stick(user on here) come round and help me.
Once you do it a few times, you'll be able to slot it right in there real nicely without trying :P
