I have been thinking my clutch needs to be replaced for a while now. When I first start my car and let the clutch out when im not in gear it makes a really dry/whiny noise. My car has also started to scream or slip when I gear down and the revs are anything above 2k revs. It still changes up ok but just doesn’t sound the same as it did before. My care needs a service but I think this is another problem.

I do alot of uphill and downhill runs and was thinking of getting a lighter fly and hd clutch anyway. The car has had 2-3 people learn to drive in it as well as the odd crunch/grind. Could this have caused the problem and does my clutch need replacing? Is it just a pressure plate? My clutch has a lot less play in the pedal than when I got the car.

service ya car, and change ur gearbox oil...

if its still bad, change clutch to a hd, and change ur flywheel while ur at it.
makes alot of difference.

l've gotta hd clutch in mine and its really good for everyday drivin, and aldo grabs real well when needed.
