Hey all just thought I would post up a few pics of my car. Purchased my car in February this year. Before this I owned a 96 civic which I did a lot of modifying to. I bought this car with the paln to not modify it at all but man this has been hard. I have bought a couple of small bits and pieces for the car but nothing major....... Until today. I bought a set of 18" x 8 et 44 volk RE30 silver. Should have the wheels in couple of weeks.

So far really enjoyin type R just a few little things I think need changing.

Heres a few picss

My old pride and joy

Thanks guys.

My ek was very low so im pretty used to low cars so dont think it should be to much of a problem.

heres a pic of spoons car with re30. TBH I dont like the colour they choose. I would have put bronze or black ones on.

RE30s are hot! Prefer them in 17inch but nevertheless still great! How do the AD08's handle? On par with RE050A or better and how much per corner?

Ad08's are awsome. better than the brigestones. They do not feel as hard over the bumps which is nice.

Can get them in uk for £145 per corner

Ha ha ive been called smurf since I was no age used to be very small but I still get it 15years on lol.

Forgot to mention that I upgraded the front brake pads to dixcel type Z.

Very good brake pads. Feel standard on normal driving but when you get a bit of heat into them they literally would put you through window.

Hows the brake dust accumulation? alot or minimal? Does it also chew the front rotors or are these pads still kind to em'?

Correct me if im wrong but im pretty sure AD08's are road slicks and our RE050a are premium road tyres..so can really compare em?? Def AD08's would be much MUCH grippier but would contribute to a thrashier ride...side walls are pretty dam stiff dude..

Brake dust is actually not to bad. With standard pads there used to be no brake dust on front wheels and backs were covered. Now they are about the same.

Yea AD08's are road/trackday tire and the sidewalls are stiff but they do actually feel more comfortable to ride on for some reason.

ic ic... would rather go with pads that emit lesser brake dust...esp for the rear (as I understand yoou've only changed the fronts and they're emitting equivalent amt of dust now)...

Love the AD08's but worried about treadwear...got a mate whom just changed his tyres for the Falken Azenis RT-615 (road slicks with a better treadwear rating)...seems to be darn good and are reasonably priced...was considering these after my stock tyres run out..

Mine are wearing pretty good. Had them on for 4 months and the fronts have worn slightly but the backs have barely worn at all. Will be putting brigestones back on again come november for the cold weather.

Just received my new wheels today. What use think
