Hi guys
I'm a newbie here..I'm planning to buy a basic model of Accord Euro. Since I've never had any experiences with Accords, I'm relying on you guys to give me some inputs about the car.
What I'd like to know is what common problem(s) does the car have (major ones as well if any)? I also have a plan to do some mods to the car...where can I get the accessories (performance and bodykits mainly) here in Australia? Where can I get them online?
Thanks guys
I hope I can get the help needed here

Do a search re the mods and problems. Just buy the car - I promise you will not regret it. Iron clad guarantee you will be happy with the car after 12 months.

Hey Leon
Welcome, glad to see you made it. Wasn't sure if you read my message on TOV.
Yeah man - have a look through some of the posts as of late, there have been some good discussions on the Euro. There aren't that many pages of messages!:D Well alot MORE then when I joined, I read them all to catch up!

There's no major problem with the Euro as far as I know. Just get the luxury 6MT and you'll be right at home ;) For the price, you will not regret it at all.
Mods have been discussed a lot here, so search around.
Welcome to OH.

yes have to agree, just buy a euro with 6 speed and throw 18 inch wheels at it...oh yes best colours are satin silver and graphite by far.

hmm what do u guys think about the ivory leather though? the only reason why i steered from the black or white was because of the ivory trim.......im gettin satin silver because it seems the cleanest.......arctic blue was hot as well but i saw about 10 on the road within an hour while i was driving around b4 and it sorta put me off. i have nothing against the ABP, just a bit common......maybe its just where i live o_O. ^^

yes don't mind the blue but i got to the choice of silver or graphite and went for silver as graphite is everywhere in brissie.plus i needed a black interior for the kids the ivory cloth looks putrid.

albii, yeah good choice mate. graphite is really good on the euro as well. actually, i reckon personally, all the colours available on the euro look good. maybe its because the car is so aesthetically pleasing....and the fact that honda can get the colours right to match the cars shape......or something o_O hahahhaa......see, i think cars like holden and ford have alrite colours, but some are just outta whack.....i mean, could u imagine the BLUEPRINT XR6/XR8 colour on a euro? likewise for the blood orange or that lime colour? yuck......
and this is just what a mate of mine told me. he bought a camry in 1999 top of the range and got the interior in ivory leather (a lot like the euro's) and he told me that overtime, the leather will stain.....because he wears jeans a lot and the blue from the jeans has sorta faded onto the leather......
