Hey guys,

I recently bought a CXi civic, and as you know it doesn't come with a tachometer.
I've searched up some DIY and install articles for putting in clusters and it seems pretty straight forward by replacing the old cluster with the new cluster and just reattaching the plugs and wires.

Is it possible to just put in a GLi civic cluster (or any civic cluster with a tacho) and simply swap out the old one and plug the wires back in?

thanks!

Yes. It's all plug and play between Ek's. You can use a cluster from a GLi, VTi-R, EK4 SiR, EK9 Type R. People usually swap the speedo/odo when they go from cxi to gli/vtir because they can keep their original kms. :)

you can even use a crv cluster, straight plug and play, gives you an amber look to the numbers aswell
