hey guys i'm currently changing my springs in my ek and before i changed them my suspension was quite un,even.

not really sure if this is a common problem but anyway. put some lower springs in. havent done all 4 corners yet but it appears it is still a bit uneven - 3 fingers gap in rear left as opposed to rear right which is 2ish fingers gap.

i originally thought it was the old springs i had on before but now i'm a bit stumped.
anyway. i'll finish all 4 corners by the weekend and see if it's still uneven but in the mean time,
anyone got any ideas??

thanks in advance

it could be few things, for one, a bent control arm, worn out bushes.... But before coming to any real conclusion, put in the lowered springs, than drive the car on a flat surface an than check again to see if the problem is still there

could be the area you park in might not be that flat.

alright so everything is in. the left hand side is about 1 finger higher than the right hand side for front and back.
any ideas?

shockers maybe dead, which can leave to uneveness, get that checked out, check all the bushes, check the control arms, all the control links and thats bout what i can think of atm

hmm i'm no pro but on inspection they look fine. no leaks, they dont bounce around excessively or anything..
like you said. i think i'll take them to get checked out

Same prob with alot of hondas. I know a few people using king springs on hondas and driver side rear sits higher than the passenger rear

have you tried parking elsewhere and checking the level?
if not then you're not really sure your garage is uneven, you just think its not...

that's exactly what i said.. 'i don't THINK my garage is uneven'
but i'll try parking it somewhere else and hope that that place isn't uneven and see how that goes

May be you can measure from the center wheel shaft to fender with measure tape. with that you will now each wheel gap. Make sure too about the size of tyres all must be same. Cheers
