Hey guys, looking to purchase a civic after im done with exams... just wanted to know if any of you knew anything about this car eg. been damaged? is the person on the forums? do you guys reckon its a decent buy?

decent price. could always bargain him down i guess if you wana pay less. get a revs check just incase cost $26
bring someone thats knowledgeable with hondas take it for a longggg test drive. go through all the gears

suss out the engine to make sure its a B16B and not a B16A2. see if he has any receipts of the rebuilt head

not sure if the owner is on the forums though

edit* just seen the engine number looks like its a genuine B16B
also get some one to stand or drive behind you while you drive it hard to see if its blowing any smoke. and to take note of what color it is

Being your first car why not start with something less modified, what was the reason behind the engine transplant, maybe blew the engine being a heavy footer or maybe was looking at upgrade to get extra power, all in all lets hope that the conversion and modification was done well otherwise you're going to get all the headache of finishing off the rest of the job and that would lead to lighter wallet.....


cars is in fantastic condition paint wise and body

I wonder why he didn't include the engine is in "fantastic condition" aswell

did a free vicroads check and it is not under encumberance or has ever been written off :)

Looks pretty good but yeah take someone who knows their stuff with you

Also that really doesn't look like an eg6 cluster
