I have done a b16a conversion of my EG civic and I have the B16a5 engine (jap import) in there. However, the half shaft (shaft extending from the gearbox to the drive shafts) I have is the wrong one. I think it is for the australian delivered b16a as it doesnt bolt up properly?? I have tried alot of the wreckers but most dont want to dismantle their b16as. Does anyone know of any b16as anywhere that are being dismantled??
Also I have been told that the half shaft out of a 94-2001 integra gsi should as the transmission is the same. Can anyone confirm this?? Does anyone know of any integras being dismantled??

i have one to fit a 95 EG CRX, do you want to try it?

it is to suit a B16A2 engine

which is what i assume you mean by B16A5 as there is no such thing as a B16A5...

PS - i bought it to fit my B16A engine, but it doesnt fit, it only fits the B16A2/3 and B18B/C engines...

I have a jap import B16a as in out of the EG6 SIr i think (the mechanics at honda told me it was a B16a5)? The half shafts from the australian delivered b16as dont seem to fit as they bolt on differently. Is the half shaft you have from an import engine or australian delivered b16a?

Which b16a have you got??

i have the halfshaft to suit the second Generation B16A.

called a B16A2 in Australia or a B16A in Japan.

what colour are the connectors on your engine? are they gray plugs?

if gray, then it is a second generation B16A.

i bought it to suit a 1st generation B16A out of a DA6 Integra, but it didnt fit,

the half shaft is originally from a EG CRX with B16A2.

i am pretty sure it will fit your engine, i paid $120 for it a while ago, it is in perfect condition, and very rare...

do you want to meet up to see if it will fit? i'll send you a PM...

BTW - can you post/email a pic of the engine - that way we will know for sure...
