View Full Version : what do you use to cut the bumper bar for the fog lights ?

just wondering has anyone cut holes for there fog lights? cause i tryed using a jigsaw and its pretty hard to cut out any advice?

Dremel + cut off wheel. Small jigsaw should work fine though

Stanley knife, or a very hot knife works alright.

Just make sure you sand back the edges at the end so it's a nice shape :)

hack saw, and sand it back, thats how i done mine lol

dremel great if you have one, I use an old butter knife, serrated heated up by the gas cooktop burner which really made it cut thru like hot knife in butter and only had to heat it up 4 times to cut thru one opening in my eg.

Use a hot soldering iron!!! Cuts through it like butter! =P

I used a plastic specific hack saw blade, this is on the ek front bumper, pretty easy to do as the cutouts are clearly marked :) bit of a light sand and she's done :)

*used a bread knife on one car with great success lol
