Really, I think the opposite, I hate that red and blue EK4 seat trim. Bolster wise, they are the same I think. Why would you put EK4 seats in an EM1?
Each to his own I guess.

It depends on what ek4 seat that you are talking about, either ek4 SiR hatch or EK4 Si sedan.
The front is basically plug and play, the rear of ek4 SiR hatch seat shall fit the EM1 with minor mod.

it might fit if you modify the centre bracket
short of cutting and welding it, there's no way to overcome the fact that the coupe's are 40/60 split back rests vs the 50/50 split of the hatches

The sedan EK4 seat is 60/40, but have to measure the width of the back rest.
When comes to this kinda mod, it's always about extra works and effort to do fabrication trimming foam or adding padding on foam, or even swap cloths.
There is no perfect fitment.

i'm sure the OP's just looking for a quick job
it's just about aesthetics for the OP
why go to all the trouble to modify seats that may or may not fit when he can just retrim his own current ones that do fit?
save loads of time and money that way I reckon

Not sure wat u mean exactly, but the dc2r recaro seats fit but u need the dc2r rails for eg and the ek9 for the ek for it to fit properly, otherwise dc2r rails miss 1 bolt hole in ek civics

nevermind that post, sorta assumed he was talking about rear only
but otherwise yes you're right with the front seats if you're talking about recaro's
ek4 to em1 however, is a bolt on affair
