Bought my first car yesterday.
Probably one of the best days of my life.
Since i saw the Gen 4 lude for the first time i fell in love.
Saved for 2 years at IGA... Now i own one!
so its a 95 VTi-R, 200,000kms, the mechanic was my dad's apprentice.
One of about 3 in sale at Perth, pretty stocked:)
So, now to mod her...
1st shep is a set of 17" Osaka Vertex rims and some Bridgestone Potenzas.
2nd step a cat back exhaust.
Any other essential mods??

lower the ride and do wheels at the same time imo. do exhaust later.

Gen 4 Preludes are pretty rare, you did well.
Depends on what the car already has done to it, if its already got some sports wheels on it I would start with the echaust system. Agree with sultanaz that you should get rims and lower the car at the same time so you'r car doesn't look stupid before you save up to lower it.

dats it, and keep it looking neat ull find preludes look best without big stupid waste of money bodykits. nice wheels, nice low ride. tints usually work out well :) and maybe HIDS to finish hehe

The CD5 and CD4 Accord lip kits look pretty good on 4th gens as well. Might be an option if you want a cheap lip kit. Think I might have a pic here somewhere...
Excuse the corny photos but that's the accord front and rear lips.

Another good starting mod is an aftermarket intake (if it hasn't already got one).

I would firstly make sure the timing belt and everything else mechanically is 100% before you start to mod it up. It would be awful to see your hard earned pride and joy go bye bye soon after buying it due to a snapped belt or brake failure! In saying that, with summer coming up, re-gassing the air con if needed and a nice tint seem like the most logical mod.
