Hi All
Looking at doing an external coil, previously when i installed one, i opened the dizzy and took the 2 wires from the coil and soldiered them to the new wires i setup.

Now i was thinking to make it easier i can just pickup the 2 wires from the distributor plug, unpin them from the loom & then pin in the ones i want. This will make it a cleaner job i would have thought.
Anyone able to tell me which ones are the 2 wires for the coil? I've got an obd2a Dizzy.

I know i can always open it up and look it up but i'm hoping not to have to do that.

I know CRXer was good at these things, ECUMAN?

P.S any pics would be awesome also

you wont find what you need on the outside of the coil, this is because the the ICM is inside the dizzy and there is a wire that goes from the ICM to the coil ( - ). so yo need to run that wire out of the dizzy to the new coil along with the power to the coil ( this one is found on the outside but also needs to power the ICM as well )
