Hey all,

I found this DIY on TSXClub, and I was wondering if it is really this simple to adjust the height coilovers?

Apart from jacking up the car and taking off the wheel, is there anything else you have to do which isn't mentioned in this DIY?

Cheers!

Depending on how new your coilovers are, i tend to spray some lubricant silicone spray to the coilovers and scrub the threads gently with a scrub to get rid of any dirt and deposits. It will make it ALOT easier to adjust.
Sometimes you will need to gently hammer the adjustment key in order to adjust the height.

I dont have N+ but i have read on tsxclub of a breakage when adjust his coilover...http://www.tsxclub.com/forums/1st-gen-suspension/47044-buddy-club-n-broke.html
Its not difficult to adjust with coilovers. Its as simple as you mentioned in your post. I found it difficult for the first time adjusting, but once i sprayed and cleaned the threads, it was much easier.
Hardest part is taking off and on the rims....that is the most tiring!! lol

HAHA! I completely agree with this! It's so tedious too!

Thanks for the quick response btw. Any recommended brands of silicone based lubricant? I don't think WD-40 would be suitable...

I will give this a shot on Sunday before the OH meet here in Melbourne... Hopefully I don't stuff it!
