hey there :)

triflling through my shed, bang OWWWW MY FOOT, look down 2 big blue bottles... whats this ?? two full bottles of nitrous oxide :D WINNNNNN!

turns out, it was my fathers from his torana. he said i can do what i want with it..

on a serious note though. from my knowledge hondas dont like nos? true not true?

a little more info on the damage nitrous causes?

what is actually required other than the N02 to set it up. i was thinking of putting it in my project sr20 converted nissan exa?

feed it thru a vaccuum line.. you might not get full boost out of it BUT you will get some power gain i did it on a SOHC with feeding butane through the vacuum line and the thing took off like a mofo lawl

lol you know the t-piece off a vaccuum guage? find the vaccuum line in your engine bay hook up the t-pierce to it and then feed the line thru the firewall and there you go now you can feed shit thru it to your engine intake lol i wouldent reccomend it tho you might blow shit up

your engine will lean out from too much o2 and not enough fuel.

do it and film it and post it up.

very interested in results.

For things like this definitely check out www.d-series.org or www.clubcivic.com

They use the ZC and D16Z6 (SOHC VTEC) with NOS frequently on stock motors and you'll surely find that they're a better source of information.

DIY nitrous oxide. go to bunnings and buy a fire extinguisher paint it blue or w.e, get a no2 stciker on ebay and mount it on your rear parcel shelf. nitrous oxide ... DONE

OP.

Ask your old man and he will tell you, NO2 injection is not something that you can dodgey up. It takes a lot of work to tune a car to run reliably and achieve results as you need to get your mixtures right, and their are a plethora of options that come with when to have it come in at what amounts etc etc with a computer controlled car, unlike the Torana.

Do you research onine there will be a lot around about this, maybe not here as it is not popular in Australia for cars of our size.

To everyone else, any more bullshit responses and i will lock the thread and hand out infractions...

make sure you get a wet nos injection, where it feeds fuel and nitrous at the same time through the intake manifold (i think?)

interested to see how the SR20 will handle it - is it the non turbo model? and are the EXA FWD or RWD?

Exa fwd I did the sr20 conversion about 6 months ago but gotcarried away with my Honda lol, I will set it up for about a 75-100 shot. My care factor on this engine is zero. It will however be tuned to suit it. The plan is not to destroy the engine, I am just curious to see what the jap spec sr20 can handle, as I have seen 400 hp on an unopened boosted sr20+t.
