I recently bought a tacho for my project car but atm not really sure if to go ahead with it so i got a tacho, now anyone but one in their car?
is the wiring complicated?

but u need a diagram on the ECU of yr car. Wiring will be as simple as installing a RSM.

Hey,
I wanna take my RSM out and sell it, but i dont know how to open up that dash part, how do i do it and what tools i need??
anyone know?

just follow the wires to yr ECU
just cut it and cover the wires back in securely.

Haha, if i can take my dash part apart maybe i could take pictures of the wires before I dismantle it? But have no idea how it comes off.... :(

u can find the diagram from manual of VAFC2
........ that's y i ask you to follow the wires of yr RSM as I dunno where is the ECU locate in a Jazz yet.

I can't follow the wires unless I 'OPEN' UP... the top lid of the stock tacho/speedo, u know what im talking about?? I don't know how to OPEN!!!... :(
I think ECU maybe right behind near steering column... it seem where my RSM wires leads to... i dont know...
i just had a thought, might be a silly one but ill ask, instead of spending good $260 on a vtec indicator, that lights up when vtec is engaged, is there anyway of say wiring up a standard tacho's light somehow to turn on when vtec is engaged
