First time to post the question in there, hopefully someone can help me, lol.
I bought a second-hand 07 Jazz 1.5Vti from Subaru dealer (previous & first owner trade it in) last month which is around 50k kms. Then, the CVT vibration issue comes out now and the CVT fluid need to be flush and replace. The previous & first owner bought the car on Dec 07 and extended the warranty for another 2 years, so the total warranty is 5 yrs or 160,000 km. Thus, my question is, in this case, can I apply the manufactury warrant to fix the problem without the Warranty Transfer Form? Because the previous owner did not give the Warranty Transfer Form to the dealer, so as mine.
Otherwise I have to pay all the fees by myself coz the Subaru dealer told me that this issue is not covered under the Statutory Warranty (first 3 months warranty). Pls let me know if the dealer lies to me. Many thanks!!!
BTW, normally, what is the cost of the CVT fluid flush and replace in Honda dealer? Someone said $280 is a bit of rip off. And does it easy to do in another mechnician? (for cheaper price)
Many questions, very appreciated!!!!
