Hey guys,
Now I'm a little confused about xenon lights. I'm looking into making my car have very white headlights and it seems that xenon bulbs are the best for this (however I'm open to other options).
However, I'm pretty sure I need a conversion kit (for my 99 EK1). Could I get a list of things I need in order to achieve white headlights?
Also I was wondering if the 6000k/8000k (low/high beams) would be best for my car. My ek currently has standard H4 halogen bulbs btw and I'm probably getting what I need off ebay.
Cheers!

You need a plug n play HID kit: The kit wil have harnesses, a bulb and a ballast - u need the ballast to charge and be able to ignite the bulbs - u cant do this without.
Make sure u aim ur headlights down tho, glare is horrible and potentially very dangerous for oncoming traffic - also if you get better bulbs (more expensive ones), they'll be better at reducing glare in your headlights.
Don't get 8000k too. It's more like copbait because the the light is blue, and it's dangerous for you because it's often difficult to distinguish details properly
Here are some images i ripped from google - don't trust these completely, because they often muck around with white balance.

One question though, how do I aim my headlights down? I think I'll stick to the 5000k or 6000k just to be safe
Thanks man!

umm at the back there's these cog thing su need to stick ur screwdriver into and turn. Think of using the phillips head as 'teeth' to turn that gear
Never seen how it looks at the back of EK's but on the FD's it's a nightmare trying to get ur screwdriver in

ummm i reckon there's ways. Just need an EK guru to help you out with it.. or look in the manual maybe? The cogs are usualyl accessible by screwdriver without taking anything out
