wheel paint?

Atm my wheels are starting to flake off the clear coat on the rims, now obvious u do get what u pay for, but its been less than 12 months, since i bought them, and already they are flaking, clear coat.... i dont have piks atm, but will b up tomorrow, its the spokes and the wheel barrel

The rims itself isnt chrome plated, so it shouldnt be much of a hassle right, jusy silver polished or so

Is there any way around this without resorting to full wheel respray? or just suck it up an respray them :S

my set of rotas is doing the exact same thing on the dish. it would be good to know how to fix this =D
