OEM is about 43, but I think up to 35 or 30 should fit, depending on tyre width.

width of tyre/height of wall/wheels size

width is measured in mm, height is calculated in ratio, eg. 50 percent of tire width is the tire side wall size, as people say, so lower tire profile generally could mean 40 or 35 as such, lastly rim size

Well I have 14 inch rims, I have to return the springs to stock cause I've been red-stickered.

I'm just wondeirng what is the best offset for tyres that won't make the car tyres look tiny.

The Width = the fatness of the tyre from the side right?
The Height = The lower the higher?

Offset doesn't affect size of the tyre, only the position of the mounting point on the wheel.

Width is the distance from one side of the tread pattern to the other, which is what makes contact with the road.
Height of the tyre side wall is measured as a ratio of the tyre width, so the lower it is, the 'thinner' your tyre looks from the side.

So a tyre with 185/60/14 is 18.5cm wide on the surface that contact the road, 60% of 18.5cm in tyre wall thickness when viewed from the side, and is suited to fit a 14" tyre.
