Dye it blue.
Cheaper. Easier.

Correct, mostly.

It will fit... it just won't be right.
Below is a LHD carpet. You can see on the left piece where the foot rest and cables go being its LHD.
You'd have to do the same thing to the RHD for our pedals and footrest. I discovered this when I bought a LHD AP2 footrest.
As you can see, in theory, the carpet should fit the same as our cabin is the same.

Missed this.

Suzuka was an option for colour choice between 2002 and 2003.

Hey guys,

When I looked into getting my K re-carpeted I just asked a place that deals with marine custom carpeting/re-carpeting. They said they could easily take the old carpet out, make a mould from that, and provide me with new carpet to fit exactly. The price would just depend on how long it took them (as they don't have an existing S2K mould as they've never been asked to do this before) and also which type of carpet I choose as they had a huge range; high quality, some sun/waterproof etc hehe, in a choice of colours.
That's what I'd suggest. Think it was a 2 week turn-around.
:)
