custom paint jobs

hey guys, i need a variety of colors to choose from to give my car a respray and i cant find many websites showing me a variety of colours, im after a kandy color and if you guys know any websites showing different custom paint jobs please pass em over to me, thanks in advanced guys :)

i culdnt find the code paint for this picture but im guessing this color may be a kandy apple blue ? not sure but it looks nice, im after sumfing like this

before that picture loaded i was going to say that blue colour that goes to a aqua blue :P one of my favourites :D... im guessing it would be a candy blue :)

nahh i dont know the make, i found this pic somewhere a long time ago and i dont remember where. yeah please have a look for me :) watever color comes closest to this one !

go for electron blue or fiji blue..

or steal nissan's bayside blue

The hatch that OP posted is more likely Electron Blue. This color is actually not pure blue, it reflects different shades in different angles. There is a purple color tint in it on some angles, absolutely nice color.

with any custom colour, i would recommend two things

1) Find the best painter you can, particularly with cady, as it is a very involved process, and will cost more.
2) Remember that when you are mixing up a custom colour matching will be very difficult if the unfortunate were to happen

Candy color is known as a 3 layer pearl... i think. so its sprayed first with a basecoat of silver and then sprayed with the top coat which consist of a "Color blender" which is a shinier lacquer and Pearl in powder form probably in your case is Blue Peral PRXL4.

This style of paint is different to your average paint with only 2 layers which would be Electron blue and the nighthawk black on the dc2r. Those have the pearls intregrated in the basecoat and just require the clearcoat on top.

This 3 layer pearl is the paint commonly found on "Pearl white" Subaru and Suzuki swift.
The common problem with 3 layer pearls are that they are VERY hard to mix and match color. So if you damage your bumper and want to just respray your bumper then you could probably expect that the color is going to be slightly off.

Three layer pearls will cost you ALOT more than the average paint job. I'd say about double if not more.
