Planning to put an exhaust system for my euro not to loud or not to soft a nice roar, enough to hear Vtec kick in.. but don't know what exhaust should i go for and what set- up

what do you guys think should i go full exhaust or just from the cat back??? suggestions why you have picked this set-up

I'm selling a catback that'd give you a nice sound with the stock headers

Even with high quality headers a catback will only net you 3kw atw or so.

IMO, get an aftermarket intake instead of a exhaust if you only want to hear the VTEC roar without the annoyance in daily driving.

+1 injen ftw :)

i can no longer hear my injen after skunk2 exhaust :(
but overall, going uphill @ 3000rpm gives u a nice roar

I think the "rumour" of not much to be gained with exhaust can be thrown out the door with some of the results i have seen/read.
On a stock car without tuning, then yes, not much will be gained.
Some of the guys on k20.org and on this forum as well running k24a have netted very good gains with 2.5-3" exhausts.....with a good tune of cos!! ;)
