That stupid yellow engine light has decided to come up on my car here's the problem...
Start the car, it comes up...
Turn off car...
Re-start the car, light goes off...
Explanation??? Im confused on this tbh.

tried resetting the ecu and seeing if it goes away? maybe just an error. :S
if it does it again do the DIY ecu code check (the thing with the paper clip) and that'll help you locate the problem area :)

As suggested, definately get the code checked. But i had an engine light throw me a light because of my header and hi flo cat. I bought a defouler, which screws into the secondary o2 sensor. This piece fo device limits the amoutn of data the sensor can read and therefore will not throw the light!

I had this CEL before, its cause of aftermarket headers. I fixed it by resetting the ecu, disconnected my battery for about an hour then started it again and it was gone.

it did come back but then i just ignored it and drove it for a day and it just turned off and it hasnt came back since.
