View Full Version : Considering a TJM nudge bar for my gen 1 CR-V Sport

Hi, I am considering getting these front bumper nudge bars for my silver Gen 1. I found these pics on google - the V in this pic looks just like mine so that will be an exact representation of what mine would also look like if I got them.

I think they look great. Gives the gen 1 a bit of a meaner look. :)

However I am wondering if these things are quite heavy or are they actually hollow? If they are heavy, will they affect my handling? Increased fuel consumption, etc? Are they also quite expensive to purchase and get fitted by the shop?

Appreciate your opinions.

Looks great, go for it.

would be hollow mate, not that heavy, few kg's at most.

just hollow bar + brackets + bolts.

most nudge bars are alloy they r light so wnt have any affect on handling or fuel consumption. it should cme with fitting instructions and all the nuts, bolts, washers u need so its an easy diy job
