Ive already searched and checked the forums, and i couldnt exactly find the answer i need.

Im looking at purchasing some suspension off a EK and wanting to put it onto my EG.
Ive read around, people said that the front will fit fine, however the back wont due to the LCAs on the EG being different.

Is it true that the EG ones are wider? so what would happen if i were to get EK rear LCAs and put it into my EG? would i be able to mount them then? i also read that the EK rear LCAs are longer by about 30mm. Would that give me more camber? it would right? as the bottom will be pushed out more..

Also, what is the height difference between EK shocks and EG shocks.
If i were to purchase some EK coilovers, it wouldnt be as low as it would be for EG coilovers? how many cms is it off by?

Sorry for all the questions, hope someone can help me!
will rep if its exactly what i need..

Thanks in advance,
Nick

no it wont fit

if you get it to fit some how you would be putting your self in danger as you would have a highly defected and unsafe vehicle

just get eg parts or dc2 ones

save your self the headaches

The front is P&P, but the rear is doable by swapping EK's LCA.

^ can't swap the lca's, different lengths

you can shave the rear eg bush down to fit the ek fork, likewise you can space out the bushing on an ek to fit eg/dc forks

yeah but apparently when shaving the rear eg bush, it heats up and all the rubber just melts..

the lcas are different length, the ek being the longer one right?
would that make the camber larger?

or is it possible to buy some lcas which allow for ek shocks to fit on egs?

anyone able to shave my rear bushing?

do it slowly and in short bursts

yes ek is longer, it'd give an eg massive negative camber

I haven't checked, but you might be able to swap the ek bush into the eg arm

lol how hard you gona push down on that angle grinder for it to melt?

just buy whats right for you car, no point mixing and matching if it doesnt fit and modding like shaving **** that waste of time
