Hey guys

I was just wondering whether these tein basic coilovers on ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/TEIN-BASIC-COILOVER-DAMPER-ACURA-TSX-04-05-06-07-08-_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQfitsZModelQ3aTSXQQhashZitem2a09 f217f0QQitemZ180555487216QQptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruck Q5fPartsQ5fAccessories would fit my 2004 euro lux.

It says that they fit the tsx but i'm not sure if they would fit my car :S

TSX = Accord Euro ( CL7 )

elitee
30-09-2010, 07:43 AM
Ah pretty sure the cl7 is the JAP version with the k20
TSX is cl9 having the k24

richard_k
30-09-2010, 07:45 AM
yeah i know that but would they still be compatible with the CL9?

Simonnn
30-09-2010, 08:22 AM
CL7 and CL9 suspension setups are interchangable, they'll definitely fit! :)

Alright cool i'm also considering tein SS coilovers http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/04-08-Acura-TSX-CL9-TEIN-SS-Coilovers-DSA64-KUSS2-_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem1c120c4608QQitemZ12056 1878536QQptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccesso ries..the price seems alright :D

but yeah most likely these:

The SS are the same as the BASIC but they have damper adjustability. I considered both of these just a few months back, but ended up getting the Buddyclub N+ (and have NO regrets at all :D)

As said above, Check out BuddyClub N+

I'm about to purchase a set soon (Y)

sorry for hijacking the thread - didn't want to make a whole new one
have any of you guys heard of racing logic coilovers and if they're any good on the cl9? couldn't find much info about them after doing searches
the spring rates are 12 at the front, 7 at the back

Racing Logic I have heard good things about. I wouldn't go Tein. I had BuddyClub N+ and regret getting the Tein SS now.

richard_k
30-09-2010, 09:03 PM
actually i called up pedders before and he quoted me $2285 for pedders XA coilovers with camber kit all fitted. The guy reckoned he'd go them over Tein SS anyday of the week as they're a better ride lol. what do you guys think?
i'm probs gonna go pedders :D he made some good points.

richard_k
30-09-2010, 09:04 PM
for now i guess. better than just prokit eibach springs :D

white_ep3_civic
01-10-2010, 09:29 AM
I wouldn't go pedders never liked them. You get the same quality out of Tein or any other brand out there and it's half price.

I'd go Tien SS over pedders, not saying anything wrong with pedders but piece of mind goes futher in my books. Not many complaints with Tiens and im pretty sure Pedders coilover range hasnt existed as long as tiens range.

richard_k
02-10-2010, 01:17 PM
yeha true but yeah if the tein setup has something wrong you'll be waiting ages for parts and i guess pedders have a good warranty but i'll be getting new rims first :D

+1 buddyclub go lower than tien and they are cheaper than the SS

white_ep3_civic

I thought the buddyclub N+ were more expensive then the tein ss?

Simonnn

I thought the buddyclub N+ were more expensive then the tein ss?

It depends on where you source them from, they're roughly within the same price range. Go with the Buddyclubs!! :D

Tein's are about $100 less depending were you get them

Would rather spend the extra $100 and get the BC N+

white_ep3_civic
04-10-2010, 02:29 PM
Ah k. Yeh same the buddyclubs are much less stuffing around too. With the Tein SS I had too use the stock strut tops.

as yourself if the pedders are worth $800 more than tien of buddyclub. if your daily driving them they arent going to brake.. best value for money = tien ss or N+

richard_k
04-10-2010, 04:09 PM
yeah but that price includes fitting and camber kit..i think the pedders are $1600 or so just for the coilovers themselves

elitee
04-10-2010, 05:18 PM

richard_k

richard_k
04-10-2010, 06:36 PM

Anyone used the H&R Street coil over on an Accord Euro?

Just thought ide throw it out there and get poeples opinions. Theres a mob in the US (www.shox.com) that some MX-5 owners have used recently and the feedback is excellent... very helpfull and very fast shipping. Just remember to search for Acura TSX if looking at parts for a euro.

Seems like a relatively cheap option with the dollar the way it is:

H&R Street Performance Coil Over 2004 - 2008 Part # 50151 Lowers 1.2"-2.5" F / 1.0"-2.8" R $1062.00

richard_k
03-11-2010, 06:02 PM
yeah i saw them. would that price would be for just one set?
and doesn't that site have the proper ingalls ones cause they're different to the ingalls ones on heeltoeauto :S

Simonnn
03-11-2010, 07:45 PM
Pretty sure thats the price for a set of rears, best to ask beforehand I guess :) you dont necessarily need ingalls, these should do the job!

Would the basic ones in the first post of the topic fit a 2005 Euro non luxury?

Simonnn
05-11-2010, 04:27 PM
Yup, all suspension in CL9 (2003-2008) are the same :). Also applies for Acura TSX and Accord Euro-R (CL7).
