WIth the b-series swap into the gen 1 integra, it recommends that the shift linkages be shortened, otherwise they won't "fit".
I've mounted the stock shifter and linkages, and everything seems to fit okay. (i did an auto to manual conversion, so the hole in the chassis was probably bigger anyway.)
my question is, if a shift linkage is longer, how would that affect the actual mechanism for changing gears (if any).
