Second hand 2002 s2k gearbox

Does anyone know if the 2002 gearbox will fit onto 1999 s2k model? Someone is parting out their s2k on e-bay, wanna make sure before I engage in anything.

Im no gearbox specialist, but do u know/recommend anything which I should look out for wen buying it? I think ill go directly to the wrecker were he's selling it and check it out.
