hi there - just noticed this over the last few weeks

when the car is at idle - it kind of misses or skips a litte

the revs stay constant - and its very hard to notice

if you sit still and listen and feel the car you can hear it - ever 4-5 seconds it has a slight jump

i have adjusted the valve lash, checked oil, checked coolant, checked intake, checked plugs, as far as i can see its all ok

the only thing i can think of is maybe my ignition timing isnt right? or the cam isnt dialed in properly? (D16a6 cam with bisimoto cam gear)

any ideas would be appreciated

Have you tried cleaning your fitv (fast idle thermo valve)?

here is a link to a diy - http://honda-tech.com/showthread.php?t=1564019

was actually a pretty easy job - car idles nice and smooth now - just did the valve lash adjustment yesterday as well =)

didnt really fix the problem though - but i found as the car warmed up it went away - usually it doesnt do this ... hrmmm
