My CL9 has a rough idling when it is stationary and in gear. It gets worse with the A/C on.

I can clearly feel the vibration though entire cabin. I have been filing up with Vortex 98 for the past 5 months or so. I have changed Automatic Belt Tensioner not so long ago (As per my previous posting). Checked the tension and everything seems to be normal.

What seems to be the problem? Could it be some sort of injector related failure? My car's done just over 60,000 km (2006 model).

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Me three.

When i get to a traffic lights i shift into neutral to eliminate the shake.

When looking into the engine bay while the car is in gear (either D or R) the entire engine rattles like crazy !
But my car is old, my issue might be a different to what you are describing.

Have a look at replacing the transmission fluid, and also checking the engine mounts.

Yep mine is probably engine mounts, have replaced the tranny oil with no difference felt

When it comes to engine mounts, is it possible to somehow lubricate them like suspension bushes?

I have also checked the engine bay while it is idling and when in gear. The engine doesn't seem to vibrate too much though...

umm could be worn out hoses in your engine or your timing belt might be jumping. check those :D
