Hi Guys,

I had experience with the BMC CDA on a Renaultsport Clio back when I was young, and I was suprised how it transformed the car.

But it's expensive little thing, $600+ for a brand spanking new one. So when I saw one on eBay for bargain, I went for it.

Impression with the BMC CDA is whao, That's LOUD! but I can feel instant torque increase when the car accelerates from stand still. The throttle feels a lot lighter and responsive. There's no more "dead zone" when you move the throttle and nothing happens.

over 3500rpm the car transformed into a Vtec beast!! LOL at least it sounds like a K20A.
the engine revs out smoother and faster now. makes me want to rev the engine everytime! (not good for fuel economy)

Overall it probably only adds about a few kw, a few nm of torque. but I am pretty satisfied with the induction noise!

Aus,

the sound is pretty similar to your K&N, when it's fully ducted it's quieter. If it's short ram type, it will be very loud.

good, no need shopping again.... its a "wooo wooo" sounds non-stop if i removed the ducting from mine as a pod....

i got one on my dc2r couple months ago. not bad.

went from an open pod SRI to this so i was like ''this is so quite'' (well compared to a open pod)

So it's a universal size?

There are 2 sizes I believe. One for below 2litre engines and another above 2 litres.
