Top results guys, I've been tracking your progress on natsoft. Some really quick Honda's here!
Bit off topic but...Just wondering what sort of times people have done with stock OZ spec ITR's (DC2) at Wakefield & EC on semi's.
As i'm looking to upgrade my track car within the next 2 years to an ITR and considering running at state level in 1B.
Your probably going to say depends of your skill level, my previous best times are in my signature,
which were done in my '95 excel (stock DOHC 1.5L engine with suspension work & R888's).

Stock ITR with just semi slicks - Wakefield Park 1:13 - 1:15
Eastern Creek - 1:58 - 2:02

friend of mine will be competing in 2B class with his S2000

Type 2b rules stipulate that wheel width can be increased 1 inch in width and 2 inch in diameter.
With the S2000 the 2000 model had 6.5 inch front 7.5 inch rear. But the 04 models had 7.5 and 8.5 inch width.
I'm running 17 x 8.5 can i still run in 2b?

Running in 2A again... have got the car now at the limits for 2A regs..haha. Hope to see you take number 1 this year Benny! :)
Hi all,
Have been a casual observer / info stealer and buyer on ozhonda for a while now (so this might belong in the intro sections as much as here). Am finalizing JSCC membership and license requirements for the Feb round.
So I'll be there. Running an EP3R in 2B, so feel free to say hi if you see me looking lost.
Am from a karting background and haven't driven Eastern Creek in a few years now so just look out for a punter with NFI what to do...
Look forward to meeting a few of you.

hey guys - i just put up a "Guide to supersprints" and was hoping for soem feedback?
http://www.jscc.asn.au/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=105:supersprints-the-faq&catid=12:motorsports-preparation&Itemid=48
if guys who have experience could have look and provide criticism, that would be good!
and if guys who are n00bies can have a read and tell me if it raises more questions than answers, that would be good too!
all feedback welcome...
looks good- certainly a good reference for someone who has yet to compete.

This is very helpful as I had no idea what was required until I spoke with Nelson lol and I have been running around like a mad rat trying to get my car sorted.
I send JSCC and email regarding some questions hope to hear back soon too.

Hey guys , Just did Round 1 NSW Supersprints and did a PB 1.52.25 which broke a 6 year lap record in class 2A at Eastern Creek . Last year did a best of 1.56.35. So pretty stocked as its really a lightly modified EG with a B16A. Cant wait now to see what it will do at Wakefield for Round 3.Ive managed a 1.12 there before. Im hoping to better the 1.52 at Eastern Creek at Round 2 in April. http://www.natsoft.com.au/cgi-bin/results.cgi?26/02/2011.EAST.S1 ( car 143 ) .

i recon 152 @ EC = 110 @ wakie?
congratulations - it is always good to achieve results you are proud of :)

I was there too, wasnt the best run day.
It was my second time at EC and I ran a 1.53 (car 113) still on road tyres, will switch to semi slicks and aim for 1.49 next round at EC.
Im really looking forward to it.

Well done! You have got a good grip on the car handling and you are driving it really well. I'd be expecting at least a 1:10 - 1:11 at Wakefield from this car

Thats a decent time in an EP3. With more practice and more time behind the wheel, you'll get under the 1:50's in no time. The event was poorly organised, i hope they get there act together for the next one

Yep tinker I would love to do a 1.10 @ Wakefield but will be happy with a 1.11. Ferrari if you were on road tyres in that 2000 , semi slicks will definatly get you atleast 2 - 3secs better. And by the way... very sexy car! Was yours the red or the yellow? they were both hot looking cars..:-)
Ferrari
27-02-2011, 07:49 PM
Cheers mate, I was in the red one, the yellow had semi's. The Hondas put on a good showing I think.
With your time at EC 1:10 is doable at Wakie, as I was running 1.12 there without many of the mods I have now. See you at the next one hey!
