Hey guys today i took off my cannon and put my stock muffler on so on the 6th i can go to vicroads with my car for my manual drivers test.. just had a quick question about my setup i have 4-2-1 extractors.. eg6 cat converter and the rest is stock eg5 piping with a stock muffler.. is there any power advantages of this over having a cannon? a mechanic told me something about having a back pressure or something i could be loosing power and fuel economy is this correct? thanks guys

This will be the best setup for now...
4-2-1 headers > JDM Cat > EG5 catback > EG5 muffler
after your test either get a custom built 2.25" catback with a good quality oval/twinloop muffler or buy a brand name catback setup
either way - loose the canon

So you have a D-series? Go 2" cat-back IMO. I think it will be better for power due to a better back pressure

2" or 2.25" ... no bigger
im running 2.5" on a D15b7 and i think its a little too big - but my mechanic is superman with exhausts and he has got it to run nice =D
