As the title says, is the Greddy unit supposed to allow you to still use the OEM filter? Bought it from JDMyard a few years ago now after coupe people told me OEM filter was no problem.

I went to start on the gauge install in the EK today and;

#1 centre bolt: threads onto the block but does not thread onto the filter
#2 centre bolt: does not thread onto the block but threads onto the filter

If this is the case, can someone guide me to a decent quality sandwich plate that will retain the use of the OEM Honda filter. Running non OEM Honda filter is not an option unfotunately (got great access to them and even better price wise).

i'm using a greddy sandwich plate.
the fixing bolt, did not me allow to get the oil filter on.
so i went to earls, and bought a sandwich plate kit, and used that bolt that came with the kit as they don't sell it separately.

HA! Thanks destrukshn...well at least its comforting to know that I'm not the only one who has experienced this.

The Greddy one does too when you actually buy (or are supplied) the right one... LOL

Heh.... it was for Honda so who knows.
I find it bizzare that the centre bolt goes from M20x1.5 to what I presume a 3/4x16 UNF, and vice versa for the 2nd bolt supplied.

Meh.... oh well.

Depends on the type of sandwich plate, I'm pretty sure.
