So I was bored one day and decided to get a new filter and went something more mainstream and ended up with this.

Sound = bloody hell loud! (0:13)

Can hear with the a/c and music on. when VTEC engages, worth the money even if its just for the sound (wtf, and bragging rights). No chance to test power yet.

oh god, yrs is much louder may be due to open pod. don't you worry of popo with open pod??

I don't know bro. It's only loud if you floor it though. If it's gradual climb its alright. Shouldn't be a problem..right? Hahaha
Only downside is no cold air at all. Summer traffic jam = die.

actually doesn't matter on open pod, if popo pop the bonnet and see the tower bar then its fxxked already haha..... understand the law is no on open pod, yrs is dry so may be ok but definitely not oiled as they consider fire hazard.

so that's the name of the sound. its very obvious when first start up but after driving for awhile its not so bad..

how to fix this sound bro? is it a sign of some problems to come?

Check your oil level would be a start.

Is the front strut bar illegal? When my euro got defected they didn't say anything about the strut bar. Btw, is my apexi SRI oiled?

by law is anything NOT oem is illegal. believe the Apexi is dry, only know K&N needs oil for better filtering.....

man i just service my car last two weeks LOL.

any bros here using justcar insurance? do you guys like, really declare ALL your mods you have on your car in the insurance even though it doesnt affect your premium? and is it a good idea to declare?

I'm with SGIO and I declared everything until about a year ago when they changed my policy wording to just say " all modifications at time of claim".

Hi Bros, this is my HKS hipower 409...

loudness = SMFH....only when you "tap" and it accelerates..but when flat out cruising very quite surprisingly..

remove the video Roy as showing plate.... get another one then post here. God, sounds like a N series exhaust and will get louder later on mate.....

Roy's HKS supposedly to be louder than mine & damien's and Damien's one would slighly louder than mine as mine is brand new. Hopefully it's getting louder hehe
