ok guys i have just sold my EG Civic and im looking for a Teggy.

What one should i get?

any help would be great as i dont want to waste the money....looking for a 99 model or up.

please help.

Can you grab another 5gs? If so i would by dc2r :). If not for sure vtir no doubt bout that.

Yes dc2r is a type R from 99 - 01 model. If thats so try scum extra 5 grand get type r. :D

I spent 20g on my old 1998 vtir integra from a dealer with 51,000kms on the clock.
Insurance is so important so plz budget for it! Full comp a must!

For 99 models, you are only loooking at either GSi, VTi-R or Type-R.

*off the top of my head*

GSi - B18 non-vtec engine, no sunroof
VTi-R - B18 DOHC VTEC, sunroof, ABS, Airbags, Power everything, alloys
Type-R - The Shizzo!!

For your budget, you're realistically looking at getting a VTi-R or GSi. Depending on what you wish out of your car, both choices look promising.

If it was me, a show car, I'd get a GSi. Otherwise, get the VTi-R. :)

I'd get the vtir... nah, my 2001 Gsi don't got a sunroof...unless its a counterfiet perhaps, hmmm...

if 20 is the budget for your car alone.. not including rego n insurance... u maybe able to get a JDM series 1 ITR (ive seen them go for 20-22k range)

otherwise id say grab a the face lift model vti-r use the money on a system... kit.. rims... watever tickles your fancy... and insurance and rego.. ive driven dc2 vti-rs and i have a b16 in my EG... both perform similar enough on the street.. the vti-r is a verry subtle comfrotable car... that has alot of punch if you push it =]

not all GSi's have sunroofs, i think '99+ (when vtir killed and R introduced) dont have sunroofs...
99 models had power everything, airbag and alloys

Wrong. You can get limited edition Type R's with sun roof. It was an option for 2001 indy limited edition.

go get yourself a vtir.
they are pretty quick stock, and have so much room for improvement.

make sure you get a facelifted one, you get sun roof, power steering, air conditioning, power windows, abs brakes and srs air bags.

they look tight, and you can get silver! =P can't get that on itr's!!!!
