Rumour...Acura TSX Coupe

I have seen a few posts this week from the USA that Acura want to expand their product line and sales,and are considering an Acura TSX 2 door coupe,which would really be an Accord Euro sports coupe...
This could be one hot car.....

Possibilities, our CU2 front both doors are bigger like the sports coupe anyway and rear doors are very small. THe currect shape of Euro perfacely match for sports couple, but do you guys think Honda will upgrade the engine to more powerful?

To be honest, if this is true/does go ahead...I'd be very surprised if Honda Australia decide to bring it here.

I hope its true.. Always wanted to see how a Coupe Euro would look. It would definitely look hot if they dont do too much changes with the exterior. :)

I have seen a drawing,and its the CU2.
My guess is that it would be made in Japan if made at all,as thats where all Euros are built,except for the Spirior,which is built in China.

However,I beleive that production is full in Japan...

Raja,in the US,they have a 3.5 V6 TSX.

What we really need here are diesel variants,as local sales need a boost...

I am biased,but I think that it looks awesome in the Buran Silver as shown,am sure it would look just as good in any of the other colours though.

I cannot find any info where it says there "might" be a coupe version. Just photoshop like the CL9 coupe from back then.. sounds like the power of dreams :) I maybe proven wrong when and if they decide to release a TSX coupe.

ive just returned from holidays in USA.
while over there i grabbed a 2010 honda sales catalouge for a mate back here.
the accord coupe is in it
looks cu2 based externally.

specs in the brochure:

Accord LX Sports coupe
190hp 2.4L i-Vtec / 5spd manual and auto
17" alloys

Accord EX-L Coupe
271hp 3.5L i-Vtec V6 / 6spd man and 5spd auto
18" alloys

The NEW Acura TSX coupe will be based on the Honda Accord Euro,and will be very diffirent to the regular coupe.

Just as diffirent as the Accord is to the Accord Euro.

neither can i, honda au are useless and i personally am NOT a fan of the TSX coupe

Aus always gets given the shit end of car manufacturers cars - toyota gave us the awe inspiring avalon instead of the jzx90 chaser

looks ok, but the tall tail end of the CU2 dose not suit the coupe form well I think, and I agree, Honda Oz will make peanuts only on an Accord coupe here. Coupe never sell very well in Oz, shame....
