nothing it has been great motor is fine it not that i think its something to do with the factory immobiliza it lost the code or somthing i dont know i rang honda and they said it can happen
but i would have to tow it to them to check it out ($$$$$$). im just trying to see if any one else has had the problem and is there a easy fix cheers

your Immobiliser receiver could be faulty, not picking up the key's transponder, your key could have failed. has it fallen apart ?

i had a mobile auto elec come out and the key and the immo box are working and he also re flashed the keys and the immo box and still nothing. there are no fault codes coming up he said there could be a fault with the engine ecu but he was not sure so i have had to book it in at honda hopfully they can work it out thanks for your reply i will let you know how they go cheers

hey man I had a very similar issue, I took my car to the mechanics for some work to be done and they called me saying it wouldn't start, turns out the immobilizer had failed and I had to pay for them to take the whole alarm system out. was total bullsh*t.

engine ECU has no control of the green ligth

trust me when I tell you its your immo receiver or key

They charged you for their **** up?

yep, because no matter what I said, they said they didn't do anything, and that it was my car that failed. and the next time I took the car there, somehow my ignition coil magically shorted out while they were adjusting my tappets, and they charged me for a new one even though I said that they must've stuffed it. so sick of their bullshit, NEVER going back there.

never go to Batallion Motors Auto Basics in fyshwick, even though they are supposed to be "Honda Specialists".

there is a DIY on how to disable the immo, however you will also need to bypass the immo control unit

did your green light flash slow ( once every second ) or fast

did you try to use the red key to start the car

try disconecting the battery for 1 min

your a douche. fair enough respond a stupid answer to go with a stupid question. but this was a genuine question.

TO OP: i did a quick search and i found one guy that put his key in and wriggled the steering wheel left and right and it started?

also have you had your key any where near any magnets?

Also read that if the immobilizer cel light is flashing it means that the car does not recognise the key.

you could try cleaning the metal ring around the key entry as it might not be getting a good enough connectrion to the key itself.
