View Full Version : Help: Delsol 1993 head unit wires

hi guys, my sol got no memories (even the clock is back to 1 o'clock every time)since I installed the new head unit.

i think i connected wrong wires. Can someone PLz show me the diagram or anyone can help me out which wire, which colour is for the memories?

it depends on the deck ur using.
details on the deck would help better.

which clock do u mean?
the one on cluster or yr head unit?

the one the Cluster :) , even tho everytime i turn ignition on it will restart to 1:00 PM or the head unit back to "tune" mode

try to unplug the headunit to see if the cluster clock will still reset first ;)

maybe check your backup fuse and see whether it has blown or not.

this fuse should be in your engine bay

u need to ensure that your memory wire on your deck is connected to 12v, many people make the mistake of connecting it to the ignition/accessories wire

depends on the deck but in pioneer decks the yellow wire need to be connected to a constant 12v and the red wire is generally connected to the accessories, people tend to mix up the two wires hence the deck doesnt retian its memory

i had this same problem!
i tried swapping the wires, still didnt work.
however i will check the fuse

but i think the yellow wire isnt connected to a 12v source.
so in that case, what exactly should i run a wire to, so i can retain the memory?
