This is not something for beginners, you have to drill all the spot welds on your radiator support panel, then weld the new one from the JDM halfcut on, there will be some wiring differences too, but should be able to be worked out, better to have an expert do the welding, otherwise you could affect the crash performance of your chassis...

You will need, Radiator Support, fenders, bonnet, lights, wiring, and then paint it all, so it could cost a bit.

There is a few conversions for sale right now on OH, so it's a good time to get one, sadly its not the right time for me, as this is something I really want to do too.

Good Luck, Tseesinngwailo

Theres a few places in Sydney but thats not much help LOL.

Your best bet is to speak to someone in vic that has done it before and ask them where they recommend because not all panel beaters will know wtf they're doing or what you mean by the JDM front conversion.

Apparently DT Panels (Springvale Rd, I THINK) have done quite a few before and know what they're doing... If you don't trust them spraying it.. Get everything sprayed up etc.. Then get DT to re-assemble everything but i've heard good things about them

you will need to rewire your headlights, get radiator support and bumper support, fenders, hood latch and cable, bonnet, bumper and lip.
its pretty simple if you know how to weld, i dont see the big fus about it, its all probably chinese whispers.

jst find a welder to swap the rad support, the wiring is simple as. google a audm and jdm wiring dig. and match them up.
the rest is just bolting up the panels and adjusting them correctly.

hit me a pm i did my own front end

BTW 1.4k is a great deal if the panels are in good nic and it comes with a cf hood. hold out for that!

i didnt drill out the whole radiator support, i just cut out the t cross bar part, im a novice welder, but i welded mine, made sure the welds penetrate thu, the welds dont look the best, but u can grind them down, and they hold, im not to sure if it has any legal problem, but i think it dosnt meet the australian road saftey standards or something that as the jdm support is so much thinner than the audm, u will see when u do the audm is massive. has anyone welded there own here? if so how did you weld it? what technique and amp settings used?
