Hi guys, I've spent the whole day pulling my car apart and I've still yet to find the connector to pull my ECU codes from. I have read through this whole entire thread: http://www.ozhonda.com/forum/showthread.php?8218-DIY-CHECK-ECU-for-j00-! and I still can't find it :(

I own a 1998 EJ8 Civic Coupe in case that helps

Hi ECU-MAN, I've looked there and I still can't find it.
I found some sort of a connector but I'm pretty sure it's not the right one...

Ok, after searching through every single thread related to ECUs and going through every single page of each thread, I've finally found it!

All credit goes to twing!

Instead of being around the passenger footwell area, it's on the driver's side right next to the fusebox. Also, instead of the MIL flashing, it's the ABS light that flashes for me. Hope this proves helpful to other EJ8 owners out there :)

Managed to find out I'm getting codes 16, 18 and 54

they are ABS fault codes not PGMFi Codes

Damn it, does that mean this isn't the SCS connector? I've looked all over and cannot for the life of me find any green connector holders

that is the SCS, however if you engine light just stayed on and your ABS light flased out codes then yor PGMFI ECU has no faults in it and your ABS does.

the SCS is a generic connector for all onboard computers, so you bridge the SCS and your Auto trans ECU, SRS ECU, PGMFI ECU and ABS ECU will blink out any fault codes
