Hi Guys,

I am a newbie to this forum. I've been planning to buy the Accord Euro luxury auto for many months now. I live in Melbourne. Which dealer would you recommand me to go to for the best price and what price did you guys pay for?

I'm also interested in adding a bodykit to the car. I reckon the Euro R kit look really nice. Does anyone know where I can get them in Melbourne and how much would they cost?

Many thanks

Mane

the best thing to do is to go to different dealerships around melbourne and get the best price..shop around thats the only way your going to know...depends if you are getting a 04 or 05 model as well..

I am in the same boat as you...

I went to the Prahran dealership and they had no Euros or Type Ss to take for a test drive. So don't go there if you want to test drive before you buy. (but apparently from what the salesman said, majority of buyers never test drive a honda before they buy it!) I would always try before I buy, especially a car!

Talk to Mike Rielly at Josh Sady Honda on 93798888 tell him that Paul Keenan reffered you I am sure he will look after you. He is a personal friend of mine and is also the Sales Manager for the dealership. I Purchased my 05 Euro off them. Let me know how you go.

Thanks for all your advice guys. I'll definetely try Josh Sady Honda. I want the 05 luxury auto model. Do you think $42000 is reasonable or can I push a bit lower than that?

Anyone heard of Euro R kit availability in Melbourne?

maneI bought my Euro through Josh Sady, they have been pretty good, and considering they were selling SO many Euro's when I placed my order I still got a good deal with the Spoiler and Ming Tints getting thrown in for free! Remember play the dealers off against each other, don't accept first offer.

Dont think you can get the euroR kit from any Honda dealers, You have to get it imported from Japan.

You can get the EuroR Grill from Honda New Zealand (if you want I have some contact details) minus the EuroR badge. The badges are avalible via the web from http://www.boomplustoys.net/index.shtml. I have purchased my badges from them.

I have no idea for the kit you would have to ask them ..Contact Details are ..Warrick.... Honda Cars Wellington 65 Kent Terrace. Ph 00116443859966. The grille is fitted to the Mugen Accord in NZ. Just mention this when asking.

42000a is a pretty good price IMO, but what extras are you gonna get? I remember someone in this forum getting your deal + kit and spoiler for 45k..

Hi guys!
Thanx for all your info.
I went to a dealer this afternoon and he quoted me the OEM body kit without rear spoiler costing $2500. And the best price for luxury auto he quoted was $44000 (without kit). I think it's just ridiculous. What should I be paying for the whole thing? $44000?

I phoned Mike Reilly and he was very snappy when I told him what I wanted to pay. (I was ready to sign, no trade-in) He told me to try another dealer that 'may want to make a donation to me'.
I wouldn't shop there again if you paid me.

Doesn't matter.
I found a fabulous dealership. Mark at Ferntree gully Honda was great and so was his manager. Very laid back, not pushy. Just friendly & professional. I signed on Friday for a Euro '05 auto $35,000. I'm very happy. The bloke who was rude could have a lot more sales if he wasn't such a jerk.

Oh, and I couldn't find any '04 runouts. They all seem to be sold out. Apart from a black demo model with 2000k on the clock. It was the same price I bought the new 2005 one (inc on-road costs) for.

There is another dealer you can try. Garry & Warren Smith in Oakleigh. I bough my Euro there and a few of my friends purchased a car there too.

If buying from Victoria, why not from a fellow forumer UNLS1. James is from Courtney and Patterson and someone already bought from him before.

Or, you could buy from Mark @ John Blair - I bought both my car from him before I knew Ozhonda.

Great prices  Taking advantage of the end of financial year sale.

Did your mate get any free accessories thrown in?
