ok my prelude has done 300k and i can kinda feel it dieing, i would like to get get a h22a jdm engine and put it in myself, because i cant afford to pay someone to put it in. i have been searching the internet and engine importers for one but cant seem to find what im looking for. is there a good engine importer that you guys know about in brisbane? i was just wondering if it is a hard conversion and if you guys would have some tips for a fellow honda owner

what do you mean by "feeling it dieing"... your description doesn't give me much confidence in your mechnical experience...

i have worked on his car alot and what he means is that its starting to get hard to start in the mornings and it not reving as fast and its blowing a little smoke.... its done about 300, 000 km so he is looking at either rebuilding his engine or converting it over to a H22a...

first off, is ur prelude a vtir an which year... with aust spec h22a or h23a? if so a h22a, id say rebuild that, at least u know it will last for the next stone age, getting a import engine, theres no guarantee that it will last, or how its history is... if a h23a, id say go the h22a swap
