Hey guys, i've got HIDs but they spray everywhere. I've adjusted them downwards but was wondering when you adjust them, does it adjust just the bulb or the whole headlight?
Also the futher you adjust it downwards, will the bottom of the headlight reflect the beam upwards?

Well have u got OEM headlights??
Take it to a Auto Elec to adjust.. they will do it properly... if it sprays aswell which it would in OEM Headlights then they'll adjust it again...
OEM Headlights and HIDS don't work in a DC5
JDM OEM Headlights & HID's Pure Sexy cause they work right.
They have a different pattern to our headlights which prevents the spray since they come factory with HID's

Do know exactly what the legal height for your headlight is??
Mechanic? I said Auto Elec idiot.
My Auto Elec only charge me $5 to do it... All level and it doesn't blind a single person. (Runnin Crystal Vision)
Some people... i swear

I've done it myself and it saves me time and money tbh.

yeah ive done all the adjusting guys, the only problem is that there is no defined beam cutoff, it still sprays everywhere. The lower i adjust the beam, the higher it seems to be reflecting?

Are you now going to go on and prove how a SRI doesn't get affected by heatsoak? LOL.

That ain't your fault buddy, thats what we got with our AUDM Headlights... AUDM reflectors in a DC5 are terrible... they just spray everywhere and there really isnt much you can do.

hey OP
dont listen to watajk
since you adjusted it a bit lower it shouldn't blind on coming traffic
you might have a slight problem if the other car is coming up a hill other than that you're good to go

Correct indeed, dont listen to "WAT A JOKE". He's comment on this particular page is off topic and doesnt make any sense to newcomers here.
The "vertical adjustment" as i said in the beginning is dead easy to adjust as shown on pictures.
Have a nice day :)

In ALL honesty, have you ever driven past a DC5 or had one drive behind you with HID's in AUDM Headlights??
If you haven't then honestly, there isn't much you can do.
These headlights spray like a MOFO

Something that a guy from Club ITR said regarding JDM headlights
I bought them from yahoo jpn auctions. They ended up costing me about $300 delivered but i dare say i was lucky as most sets cost around $600.

Not sure if it works like that ... either way, aiming it down to reduce glare to incoming traffic is a bit counter-productive given it'll reduce the distance light is shone
