Sway bar installed. And YES, EM1 endlinks worked just fine. So if you upgrade sway bar on an EK4/EM1, you DO NOT need new endlinks.

Only EM1 and EK4 comes with both front and rear swaybars as standard. ( In Australia )

EJ8, EK sedan and EK Gli comes with front sway bars as standard.

Ek cxi doesnt not have front or rear sway bars and the front LCA do not accomodate for FSB, so you will need LCA's from EK's that originally had FSB as standard.

EK4/EK9 have 26mm FSB where as other EKs have 22mm

EK9 has 22mm rear opposed to ek4/em1 which is 14 mm off memory.

Nice thread :)

I'm looking to put EM1 rsb and fsb on my EK1 (Gli), and need some advice:

1. What additional components do I need for the fsb (apart from the bar)?

2. Did stock EK4/EM1s come with some kind of subframe reinforcement - I thought they had some extra welds somewhere?

3. And if not, is an ASR brace necessary?

4. What do you guys think on this option: http://passwordjdm.com/Eibach-Anti-Roll-Kit-96-00-Honda-Civic-FR-P7763C1539.aspx

Thanks in advance for any help
Cheers,
Alvis

These are the components for the rsb listed to me by Honda some time ago - obviously I'm not getting in from Honda going by the prices lol!:
RSB - $193.00 stock order ($269.40)
D bracket - $8.00 each
Bushes - $11.40 each
Lock bolts - $7.85 each
End links - $138.00 each stock order ($192.30)
Mounting brackets - $27.10 each
4 bolts - $5.40 each
4 bolts - $2.75 each

1. FSB requires bar, endlinks, brackets and bushes
2. No they didn't, you need an ASR - only EK9 subframe is strong enough for 22mm bar
3. as above
4. I dunno, I got a genuine EK9 bar, can't comment on that one.

hope this helps buddy

Thanks very much mate, that's great really clears things up :)

I don't think I've ever heard of anyone of the EK forum having an Eibach sway bar setup... have you guys ever heard of anyone in Oz with one?

--------------------
I posted a thread on Honda-Tech and one of the guys who replied actually works for Eibach so he's all in the know - even gave me the Eibach oe replacement part number for all the other bits that don't come with the kit... which I didn't know about:
