Hi there, planning to buy a set of BC racing br series coilovers for my ep3. The coilovers comes with spring rates of 6kg front and 8kg rears. The seller offers custom spring rates.

I plan on using my car for daily and tracking a couple times a year. Are 6kg and 8kg rears applicable for my uses? Or should i get different spring rates.

Can you guys recommend me what spring rates i should get or what spring rates you guys have and have they been good for you?

Thanks alot.

6kg and 8kg rating is pretty hard for daily....

i think 6kg Front and 4kg rear is "just" nice unless you are going for track

6/8 should be fine for some light track use as long as you don't want to lower the car too much. However those rates are much too soft for me but they might suit you just fine, just be aware that on sticky tyres with stock swaybars the car will move around/lean a lot and it might be uncomfortable to drive and hard on the tyres.

Those rates are a bit backward for an EP3, remember that some of the newer Hondas use a McPherson strut front suspension design and generally need higher rear spring rates than front for handling.
