stroked engine?

Hey guys,
I've been seeing the term "stroked engine 16.Lt- 1.8Lt." How do you increase the engine, what exactly is involved? And can any engine be "stroked" ? Is there a huge power difference in doing the conversion?

Yeah, if you do a search on engine stroking you should get all the answers you need.

In your example, a 1.6L engine has been stroked to 1.8L. There are a number of ways of achieving this.
