Sorry to ask another stupid question.. (im such a newbie..) but still, thanks to all you people! this forum is awesome!! :D

I bought a EDGE 5W-30 yesterday, then I realised that I got one at home.. (bought it 2 months ago..) So I wanna ask if they have expiry dates or anything (I cannot find it printed anywhere on the bottle), because I might have to leave 1 bottle for the next service (which is like 6-8 months)

So can I still use it after leaving it like 6-8 months? will that break my car? (I'm leaving it in my garage which is on ground floor, so the temperture will not be as hot, should be 10 degrees less than outside)

thanks everyone again for all these stupid questions.... :D

engine oil lasts for years and years so you will be fine
and don't worry about heat - does your engine get hotter than your garage?

Engine oil has a shelf life of approx.2 years.
