Hi everyone! I am a new owner of an 88 CRX, bought it from my brother, who has had the car for 12 months, he came into possession of the car from our fathers estate. It needs a bit of work (how many CRXs don't though...) and some love! I have had the car 2 weeks now, and am definitely in love with it! My daily hasn't been driven since I got the CRX, except to move it from the best parking spot at my house for the CRX to go there! I spent a lot of hours cleaning it and getting it looking respectable, it had been kept in a warehouse for a while when I collected it from Sydney... Have been doing little bits and pieces over the last couple weeks, sprayed wiper arms, installed new front speakers, remote central locking and immobiliser and a few other small things. Need to do an engine conversion, it has a D16A8, which has almost had it :( Bring on Vtec! I am looking forward to seeing the car restored to its former glory, and I am proud to be looking after it the way Dad would have done. No doubt I will have some questions that will make people roll their eyes and think "typical female" but I guess that comes with the territory.
And I am just going to put it out there now, there will be no pink, fluffy, glittery things anywhere near this car! It is silver, and will be getting resprayed the same colour, and the interior will remain red, black and silver as it already is!
