anyone convert my ap1 head and tail lights to ap2? =p

im getting ap2 head and tail lights and read the DIY. realised i dont think i'll be able to DIMyself.. probably have it leaking and stuff.
anyone done it before and wanna do it again? =p

youve been getting a whole lot of mods done to your car lately. when are you going to post some pics? I want to upgrade my tail lights as well, but installation is supposed to be a pain in the ass. how much did you pick your tail lights up for if you dont mind my asking?

$370 shipped? thats pretty good! was that off s2ki.com or somwhere else? the shipping alone would have cost them a bit? and at that sort of price I certainly am looking for a set. they give the car a much more modern look.

sorry though, I dont know anybody who can do the install. Im sure theirs got to be somebody on here from sydney who'll put their hand up though. good luck with it all

$370 for now would prob be about my budget. In the future idbe happy to pay upto 600 but in the last few weeks I've baught a hks exhaust and shine bumper so I can only justify buying things at absalute bargain pricing from now on while I build my savings back up lol

AP2 bumpers are pretty pricey from honda. correct me if Im wrong, but I think from memmory their about 800 and thats unpainted. your better off getting an after market bumper

hmm, try the US for lights and wind deflectors.. i found them cheaper there...especially with the parity dollar now. i bought for wind deflector for $90USD shipped off ebay back in 2008...and the dollar was crap.

I just got a set of AP2 tail lights off a guy on s2ki for $400 including shipping :) I put a WTB add on s2ki.com saying I was willing to pay $400 and 3 differant people contacted me, 2 with proof pics (pics of the product with their user name and todays date next to it) and I got a set that look brand new. If anybody else is looking for a cheap set let me know and I'll give you the other guys usernames on s2ki who were wanting to part with them for cheap

yeah, quite a few in UK FS s2ki thread. problem is you need a donor AP1 steering wheel for because the VGS spline is different. search s2ki for VGS conversion.

hm.. guys, I did the conversion but for some reason my tailbrake lights dont seem to connect and work properly..

any suggestions?

I have moved them on a slight angle (but it wont hold) and they work.

Anyone who has a spare ap2 connector for the lighs and would like sell em// let me know =)
